CSCCa CEO Updates Membership On 2021 National Conference Status

We have received many questions from our member coaches regarding the status of the 2021 CSCCa National Conference—whether or not an in-person event will take place, and if so, if there will be a virtual option available for those who cannot attend the in-person event this year.

The CSCCa has conducted multiple surveys and spoken with many coaches and exhibitors, as well as the conference venues in Fort Worth.  The CSCCa Executive Team and the Board of Directors has determined that it is in the best interest of the CSCCa and its member coaches to move forward with holding the in-person event in Fort Worth, TX, May 5-7.

We have also decided that it is important to offer a virtual conference opportunity as an alternative to the in-person 2021 CSCCa National Conference.  This opportunity provides you access to all national conference presentations, in addition to an extended three-month viewing window.

By viewing a minimum of 5 presentations, and completing the accompanying quizzes, you are able to obtain 15 CEUs as you would through attending the in-person 2021 CSCCa National Conference.  The executive team is continuing to explore interactive virtual-hybrid options and more information will be forthcoming as decisions are made.

We are confident we can safely hold the national conference this year. After much deliberation with the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau, they have assured us that health and safety precautions, such as social distancing; the wearing of masks; and the wide availability and accessibility of hand sanitizers are still being implemented in the convention center, hotels, and other key areas of the city, despite the state’s easing of restrictions. They have provided additional information on live updates and safety measures currently taking place in Ft. Worth: and

In addition, the CSCCa will be taking our own additional steps to provide a safe environment. We will be providing information regarding all the health and safety precautions that are being taken in the coming days and weeks, so please stay tuned!

We have an outstanding speaker line up, and the presentations are a key part of the educational experience provided at the annual national conference.  The added safety measures will allow us to participate in the in-person conference as we’ve done in the past, yet do so in a safe and effective manner.

We all know visiting with fellow strength and conditioning colleagues, walking the large exhibit hall, personally checking out the cutting edge in equipment in our industry, attending socials and those side conversations around the hotel lobby are some of our greatest memories from attending the national conference every year. If you feel you can safely attend, we would love to see you there and continue making memories.

We want you to make an informed and educated decision regarding which method of attendance best accommodates your situation and ability to participate in the 2021 CSCCa National Conference. We understand, support, and respect each person’s individual decision.

Please contact the CSCCa National Office with any additional questions or concerns.
