CSCCa National Conference: Know Before You Go

The 2021 CSCCa National Conference is just around the corner and will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, May 5-7, at the Fort Worth Convention Center.  We have a great conference planned with outstanding speakers. Conference presentations deal with various aspects of strength and conditioning applicable to all strength and conditioning coaches—no matter what sport or gender they coach.  Please review the included national conference itinerary.

As a reminder, the speakers have put a great deal of time and effort into preparing their presentations, and they have valuable information and experience to share. Please schedule all travel arrangements to allow you to remain at the conference until the last speaker session concludes at 1:30 pm on Friday afternoon so that you do not miss out on these valuable presentations!  We have an outstanding speaker line-up on Friday. Be sure to check out the Friday conference itinerary to see the speakers and topics which will be addressed.  In addition, please be aware that we will be holding only one presentation during the final session which runs from 12:30 – 1:30pm and that there will be a drawing for a prize at the conclusion of the session.  The winner must be in attendance to be eligible to claim the prize. Lance Walker from the Michael Johnson Performance Center will be speaking on “15 Years of International High Performance Sport: Learnings that Apply to the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach.”  We hope to see you there!

2021 CSCCa National Conference Registration:

We strongly encourage conference attendees to register and pay for the National Conference prior to arrival, as this will expedite the registration process and help us facilitate social distancing. Conference registration can be completed on-line through the CSCCa website, or a conference registration form can be submitted to the CSCCa. (PDF forms available on the CSCCa website.)

While it is no longer required to be a CSCCa member to attend the National Conference, CSCCa members do receive a discounted national conference registration fee. Please be aware, however, that a non-compliance fee will be assessed for those individuals who have not paid their annual membership dues but who have received discounted pricing for conference registration, before being allowed to check in at the conference. You can pay all dues and fees on-line or over the phone by credit card by calling the CSCCa National Office at 801-375-9400. Please be aware, however, that the CSCCa National Office will close on Friday, April 30th, at 4 PM MDT, for the 2021 CSCCa National Conference, and will reopen Tuesday, May 11th at 9 AM MDT.  You also have the option of paying by check. DO NOT, however, mail any checks later than Friday, April 23rd. If you have already mailed a check and it is not received by the CSCCa National Office by Friday, April 30th, you will be required to pay any unpaid balances with a credit card at check-in. Your mailed payment will then be returned to you upon our return to the CSCCa National Office on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

2020-21 Membership Renewal Forms

CSCCa Membership Renewal Forms should be completed annually online or by printing a PDF form from the CSCCa website and submitting it to the National Office. We require membership renewal forms (online or hard copies) in order to maintain current contact information for our members.

Conference Events RSVP Information:
There are several food and beverage events that are included with the National Conference fee.  We encourage all members to be in attendance at these events.  There are also two breakfasts for specific member groups of the CSCCa:  the MSCC Breakfast & Meeting and the Female Strength and Conditioning Coaches Breakfast & Meeting. Please be in attendance if you have indicated that you will do so, as the CSCCa is financially responsible for the count we provide conference food caterers whether or not that number is actually in attendance at the event.
