Upcoming CSCCa Deadlines & Important Information

SCCC Certification Retake/Recertification Deadline Reminder:

The deadline to submit applications for the December SCCC Written Retake Exam is Wednesday, October 17. Individuals eligible to take this exam include:

  • Coaches who have taken the SCCC Exam at a previous test offering but did not pass the Written Portion.
  • Coaches whose SCCC Certification has lapsed and now need to recertify.

CPR/AED/First Aid Card Copy of the front and back of CPR, First Aid, and AED certification card obtained through the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or a similar organization which must be current on the date of the exam, must be faxed, mailed, or emailed to the national office. We will not accept any CPR, First Aid, and AED card obtained solely online. Additionally, CPR/First Aid/AED Courses must meet AHA requirements.  November 1, 2018

MSCC Applications:

The deadline for submitting your Master Strength & Conditioning Coach (MSCC) Application is Saturday, December 1, 2018.  Once an individual has been a full-time strength and conditioning coach of a collegiate and/or professional athletic team for a minimum of 12 years, he/she is eligible to apply to be recognized as a Master Strength & Conditioning Coach (MSCC). See the list of criteria that must be met below:

  • Active CSCCa Member
  • Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC)
  • 12 Years Valid Employment History*
  • Payment of $160.00 Application Fee
  • Attendance at 2019 CSCCa National Conference and MSCC Dinner & Ceremony

*Please note you must have 144 months of verified full-time employment as a strength and conditioning coach on the collegiate or professional level by December 31, 2018.
